A rather unusual love confession...

Explanation: 
So basically, Rei (the girl) has lost her older brother and future-to-be-sister (they were both Shinigamis and they both died on the same mission). She didn't really have anyone other than them untill she met Akira (the guy) in Shinigami Academy. Well... At the beginning, they weren't specifically fond of each other. Akira was a true genius, while Rei was Captain's sister and they rivalled with each other, which resulted with them leaving the Academy together, two years quicker than normal peace and becoming, also together 10th squad's lieutenants (which was btw the squad lead by Rei's brother: Atsushi Hiro). They had to learn to work with each other and slowly grew attached to each other. Then it didn't take long before they both fell for the other party, but didn't want to acknowledge that.
Here, you can see a moment that happens few days after Atsushi's and his fiancé's death. Rei accepts invitation from her friends, who wanted to go all to gether to a bar and drink sake. She gets drunk in the process and taken out of the bar by Akira, who went there to prevent her from drinking too much (as you can see, he wasn't fast enough). While on the way back to 10th squad's headquarters, Rei suddenly realises she loves him and confesses to Akira who quickly recognises his feelings (of attachment and care) thanks to her.
Then, the next morning there is a lot of tenshion in 10th squad due to two embarassed main officers. That's solved by the end of day and they live happily after... _maybe
